Atelier provides units from 600 sq.ft up to 4,000 sq.ft. offering flexible ‘B1’ creative spaces, suitable for use as studios, offices and making spaces.

The studios offer complete flexibility, with the option to either rent or buy your own business space. Each unit is carefully designed to suit SME businesses and offers high ceiling heights and includes a mezzanine area to the rear. 

The units are designed to accommodate the widest possible range of business types across makers, artists, designers and more traditional office users, providing large 'shop front' style facades offering the ability to manoeuvre larger goods in and out if required.

Cross Stone have retained ownership of the development.

Space to live

Although we secured planning for Atelier with only 3 of the 41 units, having to be delivered as affordable housing, we switched all the units to affordable shared ownership tenure and the scheme was presold to the Habitare Homes housing association.  Atelier offered a selection 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, all with attractive balconies, offering views of Lewes Castle and the surrounding South Downs National Park.
